The Dutch Steam Engine Museum keeps alive the history of both the pumping station "Vier Noorder Koggen” as well as the development and significance of steam engines. Steam was and remains important in our daily lives.

Interested in how a steam engine works?

Join our Steam Lab! Miniature steam engines have been set up in the museum especially for you, allowing you to better understand how steam engines function. One of our staff members will explain everything to you, after which you can operate a miniature steam engine yourself!

Entrance fee rates 2016:

Children ages 4-12 €5.00
Children ages 0-3 free of charge*
Seniors €5.50 on presentation of identification
Museum map free of charge*

* Excluding use of one of the kids activities.
