Medemblik - On Saturday September 23rd and Sunday September 24th, model builders from near and far will come to the Steam Engine Museum to demonstrate their steam models, often exact copies of original steam engines built to scale. An amazing event for those who love miniatures and everything related to steam. Extra attraction this year: demos with radio-controlled miniature trucks from Minitruckers.nl. Fun for visitors of alle age groups!

A vibrant weekend full of activities
You will be amazed by the varied range of stationary machines, puffing steam locomotives, moving steam cars, hot air engines and much more. The inland waterway behind the museum is bustling with the many radio-controlled (steam) boats sailing back and forth. 

Steam bicycle
One of the true pieces of craftsmanship is the replica of the original "Gordijn" steam bicycle from 1940, rebuilt by Mr. van Wijchen based on the original drawings. A first: the coal-powered steam bicycle will be festively unveiled this weekend and shown to the public for the first time. 

Minitruckers.nl
On Sunday, you can enjoy the mini traffic of friends club Minitruckers.nl from Anna Paulowna driving around a track. The miniature trucks they've built themselves are fully functional scale models, with many hours spent on perfecting every detail. 

Super steam
The machines run both inside the museum and some machines will be outside in the machine garden. In the museum harbor, you can view the coal-fired bucket dredger operating with steam.
